Scholarships

Criteria for Applicants

Applicants must be a current student in an acupuncture school accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM), or accepted into such a school and planning to start within the next 6 months.
The scholarship will be awarded annually as funds allow. The amount will be determined by current funds available in the scholarship fund.
Each applicant will submit: a completed application form; a letter stating why they would like to receive the scholarship; and an article they have written on the topic of their choice (pertaining to acupuncture and oriental medicine) which the IAA retains rights to publish in the IAA newsletter.
The scholarship recipient will be chosen by the IAA board, with preference being given to students who plan to set up practice in Idaho upon graduation, students who are from Idaho, or student IAA members.
